My name is Meret Haack, I hold a Bachelor’s in Cultural Studies and Spanish from the University of Bremen and a Master’s in Interdisciplinary Latin American Studies from Freie Universität Berlin. Over the past three years, I have been working as a trainee in the cultural programme at the Goethe-Institute Munich and in the field of science management at the Käte Hamburger Research Centre global dis:connect at LMU Munich. My research interests include (Feminist) Political Ecology, Environmental Anthropology, (Neo)Extractivism, Environmental Activism in Latin America and Feminist Movements in Latin America.
In my project, I seek to explore potential re-configurations of human-environment relations and notions of transformation in the context of the Chilean constitutional process.
