I completed my PhD at the Rachel Carson Center for Environment and Society and the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Munich. Working with the concept of geofuturism, I investigate narratives and imaginaries of environmental and speculative technologies to face the planetary crisis from an ethnographic and historical perspective. Based on my experience at the Research Institute for Sustainability–Helmholtz Centre Potsdam as a research associate in the group Planetary Geopolitics and Geoengineering and postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Department of Science, Technology and Society, TUM School of Social Sciences and Technology, I have experience bringing together scholars, geoscientists, artists, and others interested in the intersection of planetary stories and its future imaginaries.
