SSB is a member of the Bará people who belong linguistically to the Eastern Tukano, in NW Amazonia. Hailing from São Gabriel da Cachoeira/AM, he is an Indigenous scientist, researcher, and anthropologist. He has a degree in philosophy of the Faculdade Salesiana Dom Bosco (FSDB-Manaus, 2014), specialising in teaching through a degree of the Faculdade Salesiana Dom Bosco (FSDB-Manaus, 2014). He is a member of various working groups (Ecologias Acadêmicas e Ecologias Indígenas, Cientistas Indígenas de pós-doutorado-Instituto Serrapilheira-RJ, Grupo de Reflexões ecologia multicultural / territórios indígenas), a member of the research group on Amazonian mushrooms and the airá plant at the Instituo Nacional de Pesquisa da Amazônia (INPA). He works towards a deeper understanding of methodologies of Indigenous sciences and Indigenous ecologies of conviviality of Earth / Forest and its populations.
